Students at Hollins can major in studio art and art history. Both offer faculty who are recognized artists and scholars. Both are housed in the Richard Wetherill Visual Arts Center. Both benefit from the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum, which enriches the university's curricular offerings through internships, volunteer opportunities, and courses on museum management. And students who are majoring in one of the disciplines frequently take courses in the other to inform and deepen their study of the arts.
