Visit Hollins

The best way to know whether Hollins is right for you is to visit — spend the night, attend a class, meet the students, walk around Front Quad.

In the meantime, take our online campus tour to learn about our campus.

The admission office is open for tours and interviews from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. until noon on Saturdays during the academic year. During the summer months, tours and interviews are offered at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Hollins is located in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia, population 250,000, the cultural and business center of Southwest Virginia. The campus is a 10-minute drive from the Roanoke Regional Airport, with direct flights into Roanoke from 30 cities and 12 airport hubs, including New York, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Charlotte, and Chicago.

Spring 2013 Events

  • Register for Spring Visit Day (for sophomores and juniors), May 4, 2013
  • Register for Enrolled Student Day, June 25, 2013. Students enrolled for fall 2013 will have the chance to learn more about housing, student activities, academics, IT, and business office procedures during this program. Attendence is optional.

Visit us during Virginia Private College Week!

Hollins is among 24 colleges and universities across the Commonwealth taking part in Virginia Private College Week. The program includes campus tours and information sessions on how to apply for admission and financial aid. Hollins will host two daily Open House programs for prospective students and their families. Sessions will be offered at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday - Friday, July 29 - August 2, and 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 3. For more information, call (540) 362-6401 or 1-800-456-9595.
