Athlete of the Week - March 26, 2012

Tennis player Shawnte Woodson is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the week.  Last week the Hollins tennis team went 2-0 against ODAC competition, including a huge 6-3 win over cross-town rival Roanoke College.  With the win, Hollins is in a tie for third in the ODAC with the Maroons.  Bolstered by her win at #4 singles, Woodson went 3-0 for the week.  Shawnte is currently 9-1 at the #4 spot for the season.  As a senior on a team that lost three starters from a year ago, her leadership has been instrumental in the current success of the team.
