Athlete of the Week - October 24, 2011

Maggie Dwyer of the swim team is the Hollins Student Athlete of the Week.  This past week, the Hollins swim team hosted a tri-meet with Gallaudet and Greensboro.  Hollins defeated both opponents to go 2-0 on the season.  Maggie won two individual events, the 200 freestyle and 100 Butterfly, and was a member of the winning 200 Freestyle relay team.  The meet also featured a men's meet between Gallaudet and Greensboro.  Dwyer's time in the 100 Butterfly would have earned her first place points in the men's meet as well.  Maggie already has six wins on the young season.
