Athlete of the Week - March 19, 2012

Tennis player Priscila Montoya is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the week.  The tennis team took a spring break trip to Orlando, FL to play two matches against strong competition.  Hollins went 1-1 on the trip bolstered by the play of Montoya at #3 singles and #1 doubles.  Priscila won a hard fought, three set, match against Lawrence University when she came away with a 6-1, 4-6, 13-11 victory.  The very next morning, Montoya won a come from behind match against Huntingdon College.  She lost the first set before storming back 7-6 and 10-6 to pick up another win.  She also teamed with her sister to go 1-1 at #1 doubles.
