Results

After competing in the Piedmont Invitational last weekend, the Hollins golf team hosted Radford University in a dual match.  The match was held on Hollins' home course, Ashley Plantation in Daleville, VA.  Hollins held their own on the front nine against the DI Highlanders, but couldn't find a rhythm on the back side and fell to Radford.

Coty Hudson (Lynchburg, VA/E.C. Glass) fresh off a top five finish a week ago, finished in a tie for third with a 79.  Elizabeth Cheng (Virginia Beach, VA/Ocean Lakes), J.R. Woolwine (Fairfax, VA/Fairfax), and Autum Russell (Chantilly, VA/Westfield) rounded out the scoring for Hollins.

Radford's Alexandra Austin shot a five over par 75 to take medalist honors.

Hollins will travel to Cortland, NY next weekend to compete in the Martin & Wallace Invitational.  The two day event, hosted by SUNY Cortland, will be played at the Cortland Country Club.
