Results

Hollins found themselves in the pool against ODAC competition for the first time at the ODAC Relays on Saturday afternoon.  Hollins had a finish in the top six in all 10 events to place fifth in the nine team field.

In the 3x50 Breaststroke Relay, Grace Iaquinto (Huntington, WV), Devyn Whitlock (Stafford, VA), and Ashley Gao (Pearland, TX) combined to swim a 1:59.40 and pick up fifth place points.  In the 500 yard Freestyle Relay, Kara Berman (Chapel Hill, NC), Meg O'Brien (Chattanooga, TN), Sage Otto (Hampton, VA), and Audrey James (Fremont, CA) finished just behind the team from Sweet Briar for another fifth place finish.  Hollins also placed fifth in the 100 Butterfly Relay.  Iaquinto, Gao, Amanda Detres (Chicago, IL), and Geordan West (Monument, CO) finished ahead of the team from Greensboro College by less than one second to pick up the points for Hollins.

Hollins will be back in the pool in next Saturday when they host a tri-meet with Gallaudet and Greensboro.  The meet is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.
