Results

Sunday afternoon saw the Hollins tennis team back in action after a tough road loss to Washington and Lee.  The Generals handed the Green and Gold their first loss of the season on Saturday, so a trip to face Shenandoah gave Hollins a chance to rebound in hurry.

Hollins took two of three doubles matches from their hosts in building a lead on the ODAC's newest team, Shenandoah University is in their first season of ODAC competition.  After winning four of the singles matches, Hollins had put the match away.  However, in the final singles match, Tiffany Hodges (Vinton, VA) was still on the court engaged in a 1-1 battle at #6.  Hodges won the tie-breaker, 11-9, to give Hollins the win and post a 7-2 road win at Shenandoah. 

Hollins now sits at 5-1 (4-1 ODAC) on the season and will take a week off before heading to Florida for a spring break trip.  On the way to Orlando, Hollins will stop at Columbia College for a match next Sunday.
