Results

The Hollins University tennis team faced their toughest test of the season with a trip to ODAC power Washington and Lee on Saturday afternoon.  The Generals came into the match-up ranked 14 in the nation while Hollins brought a perfect 4-0 record to Lexington.

The Hollins #1 doubles team of Karen and Priscila Montoya (Delicias, Mexico) pushed the #1 W&L team to the limit but fell 8-6.  The Generals captured all three double matches heading into singles play.  After winning at taking #3 and #4 singles, the match was called final with the nationally ranked home team winning 5-0.

Hollins will be back on the road tomorrow when they take a trip to Winchester to do battle with, new ODAC member, Shenandoah University.
