On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the Hollins University tennis team opened their 2103 season when they played host to ODAC foe Guilford College.  Hollins came into the match after being selected third in the 2013 ODAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll while the Quakers were selected sixth by the league's coaches.

Hollins got the start they were looking for by taking two of the three doubles matches.  In singles play, Hollins won at #1, 2, and 3 en route to taking their season and ODAC opener 5-4.  Hollins now sits at 1-0 while Guilford falls to 0-3.
