Ashland, VA - Hollins University Tennis vs Washington & Lee University, 2012 ODAC Finals April 29, 2012

Hollins faced a familiar foe in the finals of the 2012 ODAC Women's Tennis Championships when they challenged Washington & Lee on Sunday afternoon.  The ODAC and national power Generals were one of just two ODAC teams that had defeated Hollins this season.  Hollins avenged their only other ODAC loss, Bridgewater, yesterday in the semifinal round of the tournament.  Hollins found themselves in a hole by losing the three doubles matches.  The losses were the first in the month of April as the team entered the final on a nine match win streak.  The Generals, who earlier this season won the NCAA Indoor Championships, were declared the champs after posting wins in two of the six singles match-ups.  It was the third straight runner-up finish for Hollins.  

Hollins finished another very successful season with an overall record of 14-5 including a 10-3 mark against ODAC competition.
