Hollins traveled down Interstate 81 to try to get back in the win column on Tuesday night when they faced Emory & Henry College.  Hollins came into the ODAC match with the Wasps carrying a 1-1 conference record.  Hollins started the match by staying with Emory but the Wasps were able to pull away for a 25-18 opening set win.  In the second and third sets, Hollins was able to come close but couldn't finish the home team off and fell 25-21 in each of the final two frames.

Lauren Hays (Saginaw, TX/Boswell) led Hollins with 11 kills on 20 attack attempts.  Jessie Deese (Cary, NC/Apex) handed out 16 assists while Ally Reed (Sterling, VA/Dominion) added six kills, a service ace, and seven digs.  Briana Taborn (Creedmoor, NC/South Granville) had a perfect night by recording four kills on eight attacks without an error.

Morgan Grant, 11, and Kimmie Caudill, 10, each recorded double digit kill nights for the Wasps.  Fallon Davis had a big night with 36 assists while Sam Lucado led the home team with 13 digs.

Hollins will look to stay perfect at home, currently 4-0, when they face Virginia Intermont College on Thursday night.  The match is scheduled to start at 7:00pm and a live video stream can be seen on First Team Broadcasting.
