Junior Sarah Brown’s victory represents the first time a Hollins rider has won an individual national title in Intermediate Equitation Over Fences. Sophomore Catherine Hensly rode to a national championship in Walk Trot Canter Equitation, while junior Emma Lane Poole took third in Open Equitation Over Fences.
If the Hollins video receives the most views during the designated viewing period, April 9-23, the university will win a $9,000 gift for its athletic programs and/or female staff professional development.
