Frances McDowell Leitner ’39 (pictured here from her senior yearbook) lost her college ring in the early 1940s. Another Hollins alumna, Kathleen McDonald Roglan ’97 has returned it to her after discovering it on eBay.

Andolyn Medina and Cecili Weber, members of Hollins’ incoming class of 2017, represented the university at this year’s MAOTeen competition. Medina was crowned Miss Virginia’s Outstanding Teen in 2012, while Weber was Miss Ohio’s Outstanding Teen in 2010 and is currently the state’s Miss Capital City. She was named first runner-up in the Miss Ohio scholarship pageant in July.
