This fall, the Hollins Theatre is putting the spotlight on an important but largely forgotten part of American history with a new stage drama written by a recent Hollins graduate.
Decision Height will be performed Wednesday – Saturday, October 17 – 20, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 21 at 2 p.m. Admission is $10 general public and free to current Hollins students, faculty, and staff. The Hollins Theatre is also honoring all veterans and current members of the U.S. military with free admission.
Written by Meredith Levy, a member of Hollins’ class of 2012 and currently a student in the university’s master of fine arts program in playwriting, Decision Height follows six women as they train to become members of the Women Air Force Service Pilots during World War II, America’s only female air academy. Each is transformed by the powerful bonds of friendship that form, and with courage, humor, and faith, they risk everything, including their lives, to serve their country and pursue their dreams.
Tickets to Decision Height may be purchased online .
