Three hundred fifty food items were collected along with over $400 in cash and gift card donations. Each of the 15 baskets contained a turkey, rolls, pie, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, potatoes and gravy, four pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables, and many cans of vegetables.
Rev. Jenny Frazier Call, Hollins’ interim chaplain, thanked the campus community “for sharing from your hearts and homes to make others’ Thanksgiving meaningful. May you be blessed as you have been a blessing to others.”
Food baskets will be delivered on Friday afternoon, November 18.
