Each camper will learn what it takes to become a dedicated college athlete, leader, and team player after spending five days at the Hollins Lacrosse Summer Camp. Each day is organized to provide field time, during which coaches will demonstrate a variety of ways to improve stick skills and team cohesiveness. After a lunch break, players learn the importance of sports leadership during classroom sessions. The day finishes with a scrimmage so players can put new techniques into practice. All campers will be exposed to the same principles; however, the level of concentration spent in each area may vary based on age group and level.
All campers must bring their own lacrosse gear, including but not limited to one women’s lacrosse stick, one pair of goggles, a mouth guard, and sneakers/cleats. Campers are also required to bring a water bottle to fill at our water stations. Campers must arrive no later than 8:30 am and be picked up no later than 5:15 pm.
