Tinker Mountain Writers' Workshop - Online on Facebook
Based on feedback from our wonderful community of writers, we have crafted new eight-week noncredit workshops with an emphasis on generating new work. These workshops feature lively conversation and immediate feedback from both faculty and participants. Our workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction are open to writers of all abilities and are designed for writers eager to produce new work on a flexible schedule. We offer advice and development from published professionals, all of whom are graduates of Hollins’ acclaimed program in creative writing. Workshops can be taken from anywhere with an Internet connection, and are capped at just 15 students, allowing you to engage fully in your workshop.
Whether you're just getting started or continuing work on a long-term project, we offer you a unique opportunity to engage with your writing and a new writing community from the comfort of your home. By connecting writers across the country, we hope to allow the writing and sharing of creative work to continue well after each session has ended. With an emphasis on voice, form, and metaphor, our goal is to help you become a better writer.
