Tinker Mountain Writers' Workshop - Online on Facebook
The Tinker Mountain Writers’ Workshop/ Online offers noncredit writing workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction to writers of all abilities. Open to all adults, these 10-week workshops are taught by published authors and experienced teachers, all of whom are graduates of the Hollins University writing program. Workshops are capped at 15 students in order to ensure each student receives quality and comprehensive feedback. Each workshop focuses on generating and revising new work, with an emphasis on the writer’s voice, form, and metaphor.
Workshops are designed with flexibility in mind and allow you to participate from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Whether you’re just starting your first poem or adding to an already extensive oeuvre, these online workshops offer an opportunity for in-depth engagement with accomplished writers and peers, and a chance to rekindle the incisive and inclusive spirit of Tinker Mountain.
