Twenty-five student photographers submitted more than seventy photographs to the magazine’s “Get the Picture and Get It Published” study-abroad photo contest this past spring, making it a challenge to pick one winner and five honorable mentions. We didn’t plan it this way, but each of the winning photos was taken in a different country, helping to show the range of study-abroad opportunities open to Hollins students. During the regular school year, they can live and study in sixteen countries. Other options include Short Term travel/study trips and the Jamaica Service Project.
