Tinker Day: They climbed, they ate, they partied

On October 25, a motley mixture of students, faculty, and staff made the annual hike up Tinker Mountain.
What they ate:
- 780 Krispy Kreme doughnuts
- 5 sheets of Tinker Cake
- 768 pieces of fried chicken
- 180 pounds of potato salad
- 120 pounds of mac ‘n’ cheese
- 20 garden burgers
- 120 pounds of baked beans
- 80 pounds of red beans and rice
Distance they walked:
4.2 miles, round trip
Who else celebrated:
- Alumnae in the following areas held Tinker Day parties: Southwest Florida, Fort Worth, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Hampton Roads, Richmond, and Houston
- Richmond alumnae prepared twenty-five Tinker Day goody bags for current students from the Richmond area
