Track & Field Student-Athletes Named Academic All-District Track & Field Academic All-District

Sanaa Belton ’26 and Sylvia Guillet ’26 of the Hollins University track and field team have earned recognition from College Sports Communicators (CSC) for their achievements in athletics and in the classroom.

Belton, a history major, and Guillet, a biology major, were named to the 2023-24 NCAA Division III Academic All-District team for women’s track and field/cross country. To be eligible, an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be ranked in the top 50 regionally in a single cross country or indoor/outdoor track and field event.

The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes track and field/cross country honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District team members are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early July.

Founded in 1957, CSC is a 4,100+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. It is the second oldest management association in all of intercollegiate athletics.
