Lindsey Pollak, one of the world’s leading authorities on training, managing, and marketing to the Millennial generation, will be the keynote speaker at Hollins University’s 2014
Career Connection Conference (C3) on October 20.
Now in its third year, C3 welcomes Hollins alumnae back to campus to share tips, tools, and tricks of the trade with hundreds of current students on landing that first job. The event features an array of panels, workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities, including the popular “Speed Connection” sessions, which encourage students to meet with alumnae in a fast-paced, fun, and informal setting.
Pollak is the best-selling author of
Getting from College to Career: Your Essential Guide to Succeeding in the Real World. HarperCollins is publishing her newest book,
Becoming the Boss: New Rules for the Next Generation of Leaders, this fall. She serves as an official ambassador for LinkedIn, spokesperson for
The Hartford’s “My Tomorrow” campaign, and chair of the
Cosmopolitan magazine Millennial Advisory Board.
