Isabelle Ingwerson ’24 of Hollins Tennis Earns Academic All-District Honors Isabelle Ingwerson '24

Isabelle Ingwerson ’24 of Hollins University Tennis has been named to the 2024 NCAA Division III Academic All-District women’s tennis team by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The honor highlights the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Ingwerson, a native of Newport News, Virginia, is a history major and social justice minor with a 3.95 grade point average. She has been named to the Hollins University Dean’s List four times and has received All-Academic recognition from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

On the Hollins tennis team this season, Ingwerson played at number two doubles and at number three and number four singles. Among her standout performances, she captured a 6-1, 6-4 win versus Ferrum College, a key factor in the Green and Gold’s 5-4 overall victory against the Panthers.

The student-athletes who earn Academic All-District recognition advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid-June.
