The center offers comprehensive career development, including individual counseling, a distinctive workshop curriculum and networking programs involving alumnae and other mentors.
Drawing from the latest research on how the world of work is changing, we offer a unique suite of interactive workshops that highlight the growth mindset and transferable skills necessary to ensure ongoing employability. Incorporating principles of life design, we encourage students to go beyond simply finding a job to pursuing meaningful work through which they can make a difference. In collaboration with committed on and off-campus partners, we encourage students to envision and lead lives of consequence. Our career curriculum can be summed up under three main questions:
- Who Am I and Where am I Going? (self-assessment to clarify interests, values and strengths)
- How Do I Get There? (tools for searching, applying, and interviewing for jobs, as well as networking and workplace etiquette)
- How Did YOU Get There? (C3: Career Connection Conference kicks off a year of events that connect students to alumnae and other mentors)
