The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) leads and supports sustainable efforts to fully integrate diversity and inclusion into the fabric of the university. DEI collaborates with units on campus to provide innovative educational programs, services and support which enhance cultural competence and promote an affirming environment for all faculty, staff, and students.
Dedication to Progress
Hollins has long been dedicated to fostering a campus community that encourages and values diversity and inclusivity.
In the Summer of 2020, a conversation sparked the idea for an annual conference focused on cultivating an intentional and meaningful space where everyone can engage in reflection, learning, and collective action to foster a more equitable and just community at Hollins. The Leading Equity, Diversity and Justice (Leading EDJ) Conference was created and evolves each year as the event grows.
